The comments made by Mr. Robertson, as well as Mr. Limbaugh, were beyond insensitive. I like to believe that most people are astute and compassionate enough to understand that the venom they spew is not in line with Christian or any other humanitarian principles, but the influence they potentially wield on even one person is disturbing enough.
