Before Selling Children, Read This Blog Post

Most parenting books (like What To Expect) are for the rational parent, the parent who makes a grand entrance to the PTA meeting sporting neatly styled hair and a sensible but stylish wardrobe. They are manuals about what to do with your children, ideally, in your most sane moments, when you can be everything society thinks you should be.

Thankfully there are writers like Anne Lamott as well, who–in addition to her spiritual memoirs–wrote a book for the other parenting moments. The times when you contemplate posting a listing to sell a slightly used screaming infant on Ebay.

Not that I can relate to that. =)
