Gracenomics LIVE from People of the Second Chance

mike foster, people of the second chance, potsc, michael foster, deadly viper, labels lie, never beyond

Right now, as this post goes live, some cool stuff is happening in the ATL. At the top of that list? My friends Mike Foster and Jud Wilhite are hosting a People of the Second Chance evening at Catalyst.

The night will bring some good tunes and good conversation, but here’s the real crowd pleaser in it all: MIKE AND JUD ARE GIVING AWAY 1,000 FREE COPIES OF MIKE’S NEW BOOK, Graceonomics.

I can hear the envy rippling through the internet as you read. :)

No worries though. For people like me, who are logging on from other spots around the world, there’s a new design over at their website to browse while we contemplate our jealousy over not being there. :)

And there are plenty of ways to snoop around about their book, starting with the stellar Amazon reviews they’re collecting.

Last, a little brush up course on POTSC for the newcomers who haven’t heard my rave reviews of these two before: I’ve been following Mike Foster’s journey since the days XXX Church rolled into Westwinds’ territory. Believe me, I only watch with that kind of longevity when I am confident I’ve stumbled upon something worth watching longterm.

That’s where my personal endorsement starts

This is a gutsy guy, people. And a gutsy pair of friends.

They’re pushing extravagant levels of grace– grace that falls into the hands of strippers and celebs-gone-wrong,  grace that is generously ladeled onto the broken and dysfunctional, grace that sometimes makes EVEN THE PEOPLE WHOSE FAITH ALLEGEDLY HINGES ON GRACE a little uncomfortable.

But pluhhhhhhhease don’t shy away from any discomfort they prick in you.

It’s the same kind of uncomfortable Jesus stirred when, as the crowd called for blood, he let the adultress off the hook–to go and sin no more.

I couldn’t be prouder of their uncomfortable voice in this world.

I believed it was going to be some boring old post, but it genuinely compensated for my time. I will post a link to this page on my web website. I am sure my visitors will discover that extremely handy. My best wishes, Kecia.
