The Donkey Gets A Makeover

PLEASE NOTE: Although this began as a simple self-publishing title, a new, fully illustrated and more widely distributed version of this book will soon be available through B&H Kids. Although the actual paper books won’t be released until 2014, during this 2013 holiday season, B&H Kids will unveil the e-book which you can buy here.

As you heard last week, thanks to your support in year one, the Donkey in the Living Room is getting a big makeover and larger distribution through B & H Kids in Nashville.

Another way you could help is by weighing in on these illustrations. Could you please tell me which of the following donkeys (marked by letters) you (and/or your children) like best? Also would love to hear your thoughts on which one of the 3 covers you feel would  jump out to you in the store or online. (They will of course be in color.)

You can click the comment link next to the title of this post to leave your opinion or jump on Facebook and tell me what you think. Many thanks to all of you, as always. I feel your support.

Hey lady! I think I like #1 the best! But, it all fairness, it’s possible the color is enchanting me.

My ten year-old daughter answered, “If you’re looking for ‘silly’ go with the donkey wearing glasses. If you’re looking for a basic donkey, go with number three.”

Thanks, @shannon. I wondered that about color too. :) And @Ray, your daughter sounds awesome. =)

    I think #7 looks the most donkey-ish. I really like cover #2.

I like donkey #1. He’s very endearing. The shape of his face and the fatness of his are what I’m looking at. And I like the second cover.
